DIVE IN COSTA RICA
To explore the underwater world is to discover a new way of seeing life.
Off Costa Rica’s North Pacific Coast lies one of the country’s most remarkable dive destinations, the Catalina Islands. Formed by volcanic rocks, these islands are surrounded by a vibrant marine ecosystem that thrives beneath the surface.
While diving through the rocky reefs, it’s possible to encounter White Tip Reef Sharks, Eagle Rays, Mobula Rays, Stingrays, Turtles, Moray Eels, Octopuses, and an incredible diversity of fish species. Each dive reveals the delicate balance and beauty of the ocean’s life.
The Catalina Islands are also known for the majestic Giant Manta Rays that visit between November and April. Throughout the year, Humpback Whales migrate along this coastline (Dec–Mar and Jul–Oct), filling the ocean with their songs and presence.
To witness marine life in its natural habitat is a humbling and transformative experience. Looking into the eyes of a wild animal underwater, feeling its calm presence, its curiosity, its strength, awakens something deeply in our hearts. These encounters remind us that we are part of this great blue world, connected to every living being that calls it home.
Being underwater allows us to slow down and listen, to the rhythm of our breath, the silence of the deep, and the subtle pulse of the ocean. It’s in these moments of connection that we truly understand why protecting the sea matters.

The more we learn from the marine world, the more inspired we become to care for it. And there is no better way to begin that journey than by diving in and becoming part of it.
